monthly philosophy night

Join us for an engaging and informal discussion on the complexities of ethical dilemmas. We'll chat about popular ethical theories, examining their strengths, weaknesses, and practical applications. This evening is an opportunity to explore how different philosophical perspectives can guide our decision-making in everyday life.

No prior knowledge of philosophy is required, all are welcome.

Why Attend?

Deepen your understanding of yoga beyond physical practice and explore the profound connections between mind, body, and existential meaning. By participating in philosophy nights, you can expand your perspective from seeing yoga as merely a physical exercise to understanding it as a holistic system of personal growth and self-discovery.

Cost: $15/person*

*Free for Nook Yoga Community Members

what is philosophy night?

Move beyond the mat in your yoga practice. Come out once a month to a night at Nook where we discuss topics in philosophy and yoga such as why we practice, life's purpose, death, ethics and so on. A week in advance, attendees may be sent a reading or writing suggestion for that months discussion so please sign up in advance if you're interested in joining us.  Sessions usually last 75-90 minutes.
