To keep yoga accessible, inclusive, and to be of service to our community, we now offer a sliding scale program for our community. We understand that there are times that a yoga membership doesn’t fit into your budget. Please contact us to inquire so we can set you up. Although we have limited availability for this style of offering we will accommodate as many requests as we can. We believe everybody should have the chance to nourish their physical and mental health.

  • Anna Griffiths

    DIRECTOR
    YOGA TEACHER

    Anna’s background in wrestling and rugby led her to the fitness industry where she was a personal trainer for over 7 years. Her love for yoga deepened during her graduate studies in philosophy. She is deeply committed to empowering her students by revealing their untapped potential, motivating them to cultivate connection through self-inquiry and to celebrate the little moments in community. She has been teaching yoga for 15 years and has over 1,000 hours of education in various styles (hatha, iyengar, vinyasa, restorative and yin) and aspects of the practice. She is honoured to have the opportunity to educate teachers and continues to be inspired and humbled by her students.

  • Ceilidh Degano

    Ceilidh has been training in dance since the age of 3 and teaching since she was 13. Her love for dance and movement pushed her to begin practicing yoga from a young age. She graduated with a diploma in Dance Performance from Centennial College in 2017 and completed her first 500- hour Foundational Yoga Teacher Training shortly after. Since then, Ceilidh has completed various other movement trainings including Vinyasa, Lagree Fitness, Classical Reformer & Mat Pilates, Yin & Yoga Detour. Her extensive dance background and passion for anatomy influences her movement and classes. She is inspired by the energy and growth of her students and always focuses on living to learn.

    Becky has an athletics background in rugby, basketball, volleyball and competitive swimming. She started a yoga practice after university to help with the muscle soreness that she experienced from working as an Archaeologist in Ontario. Over time her yoga practice grew beyond the physical asana and entered into something more meditative where yoga helped her navigate through so many varieties of the human experience. Becky finds joy in helping people to find their ease. She thrives when providing a calm and steady atmosphere. She has been teaching yoga for 3 years and studied in Hatha, Flow and Yin modalities of yoga. She roots for each of her students, at every asana practice, and strives to show them that they are supported.

  • Cassandra Jackson

    Cass found her practice in 2011 - and began teaching yoga in 2012. With over 1000 hours of teacher training, and having taught over 3,000 classes, Cass has fine-tuned her craft and currently teaches a variety of styles including classic, flow, flow II, calm, prenatal and baby yoga. 

    You will find her classes a perfect balance between challenging and playful, with a soothing voice and calm, focused energy that will keep you present with your body and breath the whole way through. Cass is also a busy mother of two, and when not on her mat, you can find her wrangling two toddlers boys and a jet-black goldendoodle

    Having grown up in Northern Ontario with the wilderness at her finger tips activity, adventure and outdoor pursuits was how Anna was raised. From downhill skiing to competitive Rhythmic Gymnastics and long distance running including many marathons, canoe tripping, SUP and her newest passion Surfing Anna has always been a mover, an explorer and passionate about human movement. 

    In 2014 she left a job in Media Broadcasting in Toronto to follow her heart and become a Pilates Teacher. From there Anna has spent numerous hours pouring over anatomy books, self study is paramount to her understanding of the body and  the complexities and beauty of Human Movement. She has a wealth of training and many hours of courses in both Pilates, rehabilitation and Neuro Development Technique.  Anna is passionate about sharing her knowledge and blends her love and inquisitive nature for anatomy and physiology within each Pilates class that she teaches.

    Jenny has had a passion for movement and nutrition from a young age. She completed her degree in nutritional sciences in 2005, becoming a Registered Dietitian 2 years later. After struggling with her own relationship with food, she discovered yoga which helped her develop body trust and connect to her internal cues. With a desire to share her love of the practice with others, Jenny became a yoga teacher in 2024. Trained in both Hatha and Vinyasa Flow, she loves to help her students connect to their inner wisdom through movement, cultivating peace within and finding balance both on and off the mat.

    Amelia’s relationship with yoga began 14 years ago as a student. A yoga teacher training in 2019 initiated her passion to help others discover the transformative power of yoga. Since then, she has been dedicated to deepening her understanding of this sacred practice through additional trainings in Bikram, prenatal, and trauma-informed yoga . Amelia specialize in various modalities including vinyasa, hatha, pilates, yin, and prenatal, overall focusing on creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all participants. Her classes emphasize mindfulness, breath awareness, and alignment, allowing students to cultivate a deeper connection with their bodies and minds. In addition to her yoga training, she holds certifications in somatics and psychology which inform her holistic approach to teaching. She believes in the importance of personal growth, and strives to inspire her students to explore their own unique paths on and off the mat. When she’s not teaching, you can find her practicing yoga, travelling, getting out into nature, and spending time with her cats. Amelia is committed to fostering a sense of community and encourage students to share their experiences, challenges, and triumphs.

    Kathy brings a unique blend of expertise to her yoga practice, drawing from her extensive background as a Recreation Therapist specializing in mental health and brain injury. As a “recovering” competitive athlete, she understands the profound impact of movement on both physical and mental well-being. Her journey into yoga began through her work in Mindfulness practices, which sparked a passion for teaching. Kathy is dedicated to weaving creative movement and mindfulness into her classes, creating a holistic approach that resonates with her students.

    With years of experience balancing competitive sport and supporting individuals with disabilities, Kathy embraces a creative exploration in her teaching style. Her classes invite participants to connect deeply with their bodies and minds, fostering resilience and personal growth.

    Sarah has over 20 years of experience practicing yoga and has recently completed Nooks 300 hour foundation training as well as the Flow training.  

    Initially drawn to yoga for its physical benefits, she discovered that the practice offered so much more—a journey of self-discovery and emotional healing. This realization motivated her to share her love for the practice and the positive impact yoga had on her with others.

    Her teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of connecting body, breath, and mind, fostering not only physical strength and flexibility but also emotional and mental resilience. 

    When she’s not teaching or practicing yoga, she is a busy elementary school teacher and mom is her mini.

    Missy has over 15 years of experience practicing yoga and recently graduated from Nook’s 300-hour yoga teacher training. With a passion for turning her practice into a supportive experience, she is dedicated to creating a safe, comfortable, and authentic space for students. Her teaching is Hatha-based, with an inclusive, beginner-friendly approach that prioritizes modifications for accessibility. Currently upskilling in Yin, she also has aspirations to deepen her skills in flow, allowing her to bring a wider range of experiences to her students.
